The Finnish forward has been recovering from a bone inflammation, which kept him away from the ice rink for most of the 2017-18 season. At the end of August, he finally got the go-ahead to rejoin HCD's team practice.
The 31-year-old center is projected to return to the lineup for tonight's preseason game on the road against HC Ambrì-Piotta, starting at 8 pm.
Lindgren is set to play his sixth straight season in the colors of blue and yellow, after he joined HC Davos from KHL's Amur Khabarovsk in 2014. Ever since, he has appeared in a total of 231 National League games, recording 78 goals and 120 assists.
