As La Liberté (relayed by SwissHabs) reports, Fribourg's team manager Christian Dubé has confirmed that Birner was out due to a concussion. The Czech forward will be ready to hit the ice again soon as he has "practically 100% recovered". Dubé will thus not consider signing another import player yet.
