Bays has been recovering from a concussion since the beginning of November. Unfortunately, according to a report from Arcinfo, the 27-year-old netminder suffered a relapse in Wednesday's on-ice practice session.

As for Zsombor Kiss, who has been out with a hip injury since November 1, the 21-year-old Hungarian forward is ready to return to game action against Thurgau on Friday. Also, Dominic Weder (suspected concussion) will be at the disposal of HCC's coach Serge Pelletier.

Philip Åhlström, on the other hand, has resumed skating but is not yet ready to play again. "I will be patient with him," Pelletier tells the same source. The 23-year-old Swedish-Swiss defender is recovering from a concussion, too.

In addition, still out and not available are Samuel Grezet, Sacha Wollgast (concussion), Gaëtan Augsburger, Enzo Guebey (shoulder), as well as Raphael Erb (knee). While Philipp Wetzel will be questionable (flu), Will Petschenig is allowed to return to the lineup following his three-game suspension.
