According to La Liberté, Miller suffered an upper-body injury and will undergo further medical exams today in order to determine the exact nature of his injury.

Andrew Miller was hit into the boards by Tim Ulmann in the game between the ZSC Lions and HC Fribourg-Gottéron. After a few moments on the ice and some medical attention, the 30-year-old forward left the rink towards the locker room. He was unable to return, as MySports reported.

Miller played a total of 7:25 minutes, with a bit over a minute of that on the power play. Lions-forward Tim Ulmann also did not see any more on-ice action. The 31-year-old received a major penalty and a game misconduct for his hit.
