According to Radio RJB, Elien Paupe suffers from a problem to a hip and will be operated on Wednesday. However, the club has not confirmed this yet and therefore it is not known if EHC Biel will explore the market for a replacement. Paupe played five National League games for EHC Biel this season with a save percentage of 88.2%.
