According to Grégoire Surdez (Sport-Center), Berthon was hit into the boards. He lost consciousness and had to be helped off the ice. He also sustained a facial injury, which required eight stitches. He is suspected to be dealing with a concussion.

Noah Rod might also deal with a concussion. He tried to avoid being hit by an HC Ambrì-Piotta player. In the process of doing so, he fell onto the ice and hit his head.

Daniel Winnik, for his part, took a puck to his face shortly before the end of the game. It seems as if he has broken his eye socket. If this is indeed the case, he might thus be out of Genève-Servette HC's lineup for quite some time.
