As already reported yesterday, Joël Vermin will not participate in the upcoming World Championship in Slovakia. The reason is that he has to recover from an injury already sustained in January 2019. The surgery will prevent him from wielding a stick for three months.

This season, Vermin recorded a career-high 45 points (25 goals and 20 assists) in 61 National League games, leading Lausanne HC in goals.
