Raphael Diaz had to quit Friday's game against Genève-Servette HC due to muscular problems and was not able to take his place in EV Zug's defense yesterday against the ZSC Lions. According to the Zuger Zeitung, the 33-year-old should be able to return to game action soon.
With 26 points (nine goals) in 31 games so far, Diaz is currently ranks fourth on EV Zug's team and is their most productive defenseman.
