EHC Biel's head coach Mike McNamara revealed to Laurent Kleisl (Journal du Jura) that defenseman Thomas Wellinger had dislocated his shoulder in tonight's game against EHC Kloten.

Consequently, the 28-year-old defenseman, who has already signed with HC Lugano for the upcoming term, will not suit up for another game this season. Wellinger appeared in 39 games for the Seelanders this term, putting up 16 points (one goal, 15 assists).
