Medical Report

As assistant coach Vincent Léchenne tells Radio RFJ, HC Ajoie will have to make do without Kevin Ryser for the rest of the season. Julien Privet, on the other hand, will probably return to the lineup on Friday.

The 28-year-old defenseman sustained a shoulder injury in last night's Game 3 of the playoff series against Martigny Red Ice. As an MRI revealed today, he is dealing with a torn ligament. His season is thus over. Further examinations will show if surgery will be required.

While they are not able to hire another defenseman, EHC Biel's Kristian Suleski will join the team on Thursday morning and will be available to the Ajoulots for the game on Friday. As for Julien Privet, he is luckily only dealing with a knee contusion. If all goes well, he should be able to play in Friday's game.
