The 27-year-old American forward sustained an adductor injury in Tuesday's playoff game against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. He will not be replaced by Alexei Kovalev, as Visp's head coach John Fust confirms to Le Nouvelliste (relayed by SwissHabs).
Rupuzzi has appeared in 45 games for Visp this season so far, scoring 27 goals and 29 assists for 56 points.
