Matchups for the SIHC semifinals have been determined

The quarterfinals of the 2017-18 edition of the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup are in the books. Today, the matchups for the semifinals were determined. One thing is now clear: for the first time, there will be a Swiss League team in the final.

The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, who won against EV Zug, will face HC Ajoie, who beat the SCL Tigers with 4-3 in overtime, at home. The other semifinal game will take place at the Tissot Arena, where EHC Biel will matchup against HC Davos. Both games will be played on January 4.
