The game has been canceled because two of Italy's players have tested positive for Covid-19, the SIHF informs. The whole Swiss team had been tested after the game against Russia on Saturday and all players have all tested negative.
As tonight's game against Italy will not be rescheduled, only two preparation games remain before the IIHF Worlds. On Friday and Saturday, the Swiss team will play against France in Fribourg.
