IIHF World Championship

As the IIHF announces, the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation has registered Reto Suri and Dominik Schlumpf for the World Championship. They will thus be able to suit up for the Swiss.

The Swiss now have registered 22 players as well as three goalies. Switzerland will play their next game of the preliminary round against Canada on Saturday. The puck will be dropped at 8.15 PM.

Switzerland's roster as of May 11:

Goaltenders (3): Leonardo Genoni (SC Bern), Jonas Hiller (EHC Biel), Niklas Schlegel (ZSC Lions).

Defensemen (8): Raphael Diaz (EV Zug), Philippe Furrer (HC Lugano), Joël Genazzi (Lausanne HC), Dean Kukan (Cleveland Monsters/AHL), Romain Loeffel (Genève-Servette HC), Christian Marti (ZSC Lions), Dominik Schlumpf (EV Zug), Ramón Untersander (SC Bern).
