Czech Extraliga

After only one season with EHC Biel, the Austrian international leaves Switzerland again and will now play in the Czech Extraliga.

Peter Schneider joins Kometa Brno.

It is not a wholly new territory for Peter Schneider, as he already spent some of his junior years in Czechia. "It will be like coming home," the 29-year-old forward states on Kometa Brno's website. "I've heard good things about the Extraliga, it will be a great experience." With Brno, Schneider has signed a two-year contract.

This past season, Schneider suited up in 38 games for EHC Biel, in which he scored twelve goals and added eleven assists. With his 23 points, Schneider was Biel's fourth productive import-player behind Toni Rajala, David Ullström, and Marc-Antoine Pouliot.
