WOMEN'S LEAGUE

As SC Weinfelden announces, head coach Daniel Zbinden will be replaced by Adrian Gischig with immediate effect.

It was the declared goal of the SWHL A team to make the playoff this year. Nine games into the season, it does not look too good for them though: they only have six points to their name and are currently sitting at fifth place and are thus out of the playoffs as of now.

As the team states in their press release, Daniel Zbinden was no longer able to get to the team, consequently, the decision was reached to terminate their agreement with immediate effect.

Adrian Gischig, who will replace Zbinden, has already a lot of experience in coaching. Among other things, he was the assistant coach of the U18 national team in the 2014-15 season. Last year, he coached the EHC Bassersdorf Ladies.
