Last December, the clubs and teams of the Swiss Women’s Hockey League decided to postpone a reform for one season. As of the 2018-19 season, however, a new tier will be introduced between the SWHL B and C.

Moreover, league managers Rolf Henninger (A, B, C) and Rolf Flückiger (C) have decided to retire. They will be replaced by Erwin Stauffacher, who will work as league manager, and his assistant Silvio Iten. Alongside Laure Aeschimann (director), André Weber (projects, SWHC), Walter Winteler (minute taker, projects), and Michael Fischer (coordinator of the U14- and U16-teams), the two new members will stand for election at the next meeting of delegates.
