"In order to complete the pyramid with Genève-Servette HC at the top and, in the youth department, with Visp at the bottom, we need a new MySports League partner team," HC Sierre's president Alain Bonnet explains to the Walliser Bote. A possible partner from the Valais might be HC Valais-Chablais, against whom they won the finals of the MSL.

Moreover, HC Sierre will sit together with GSHC's Chris McSorley to plan the new season in the Swiss League. According to the same source, McSorley will also help them find two import-players.

Also in terms of money, many things will change in Sierre. The budget will be doubled from CHF 1.1 million to 2.2 million. President Alain Bonnet also hopes that the promotion will help them push the plans of a new arena: "Club, city and the whole region deserve a club in the Swiss League - and everyone deserves a new arena."
