Calvin Thürkauf to participate in Blue Jackets Training Camp

The 19-year-old Thürkauf was drafted by the Blue Jackets this summer and attended to the CBJ Prospect Tournament. The Training Camp will start on September 22 with a 65-player roster, where the young Swiss will compete for a spot in the definitive roster.

Besides Thürkauf, Dean Kukan will participate in the Training Camp as a second Swiss player. He signed an entry-level contract with the Blue Jackets last summer. The 23-year-old defender already played eight games for Columbus last season. However, he played most of the season with the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL.
