Medical Report

The Czech forward had to throw the towel during the clash of the Lions on Sunday night. Others are on their way back.

Lausanne HC has to welcome another member to their infirmary. Jiří Sekáč was unable to finish last night's game versus the ZSC Lions after blocking a shot. As head coach John Fust states to Blick, the forward will miss at least tomorrow Tuesday's game versus the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. A more precise diagnosis would be available tomorrow.

Ivars Punnenovs will be kept out of the game versus the Lakers as a precautionary measure. He is recovering from an upper-body injury and still has to undergo some tests. Tim Bozon has resumed skating and should be back soon, while Ronalds Kenins is ready to slot back into the lineup tomorrow.

With Michael Raffl sidelined - now estimated to be out for about six weeks -, Lausanne is scouting the market for additional reinforcements. They first have to evaluate what type of player they need, though.
