The 31-year-old forward has yet to find a new employer for this season. According to the newspaper, it might be possible that the former NHL forward will stay with the Lions. He would be their fifth import player.

Korpikoski played for the Dallas Stars and the Columbus Blue Jackets last season, scoring eight goals and twelve assists in 69 games. In total, the Finn has played in 639 NHL games (88 goals, 118 assists).
