With Livio Stadler, 20, and Sven Leuenberger, 19, EV Zug signs, for the first time, two youngsters from their Hockey Academy.

Livio Stadler

In 2014 EV Zug founded their "Hockey Academy". Four years later, Stadler and Leuenberger are the first two athletes to make the jump from the Academy to EVZ's National League team. Both have signed a two-year contract until the end of the 2020-21 season. "They proved that they can play in the highest league," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy says.

Kläy is very pleased with the two signings: "Two prime examples which show that our training concept 'The Hockey Academy' with the farm team EVZ Academy in the Swiss League functions as a link between elite juniors and the National League," he says.
