SCB's Thomas Rüfenacht: "Of course, I would like to stay"

"Not that I know of. I don't negotiate myself," Thomas Rüfenacht says when asked by the Blick if the negotiations about a new contract with SC Bern have already begun. For him it is clear that he would like to stay: "I'm very happy here, I feel good and I think I can still have a lot of influence on the game."

Rüfenacht, however, knows that plans do not always work out: "When I was in Lugano, I wanted to stay and things changed," he remembers. "Sometimes things happen in the negotiations that you don't expect. That's the business."
