"Fribourg-Gottéron is the club of my heart and I am very proud to be able to continue my career with the Dragons", Andreï Bykov comments on his most recent contract extension. It will be seasons 17 and 18 with HC Fribourg-Gottéron for the 33-year-old. He debuted for them during 2005-06 season.

"The team spirit in the dressing room played a big role in my decision to stay loyal to the club. My teammates are people who are important to me. Knowing that most of them will still be here next season gives me a great feeling", Bykov continues. Over the course of his career, the forward has recorded 117 goals and 326 assists in 642 games for the Dragons so far.
