Since the National League will have a break during the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the 21-year-old might join HC Thurgau, which would help alleviate Thurgau's injury problems in their defense. Kindschi has already played eight games for the Lions this season so far (two goals, one assist).
In other news, HC Thurgau's defenseman Sacha Wollgast has returned to the ice. The 29-year-old has been suffering from a concussion. It is, however, not yet clear, when he will actually return to game action.
