The 25-year-old American center will leave Winterthur and return to the Kalamazoo Wings from North America's ECHL.

Tanner Sorenson joined the Swiss League team from VHL's Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk (Russian Supreme Hockey League) on a one-year deal in late April this year and appeared in a total of eight games for them, recording three goals and two assists.

The American import, however, sustained a concussion in mid-September which has kept him away from game action ever since. Now, after eight games with EHCW, the contract between the two parties has apparently come to an early end since the Wings officially announced the re-signing of Sorenson.

Prior to his move to Russia in 2017, the US-forward was part of the ECHL-team for two seasons.
