Rumor

EHC Visp's team manager Bruno Aegerter is still looking for an experienced Swiss forward for the upcoming season. One possibility: Peter Guggisberg.

According to the Walliser Bote, Guggisberg's name is circulating in Visp these days. The 33-year-old might be the perfect fit to play with the imports Mark Van Guilder and Dan Kissel. But the deal is far from done yet. Guggisberg had to undergo knee surgery and does not know if rehabilitation will go well. If it does, he can imagine to play for another one or two seasons, the same source writes.

Guggisberg's contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta ran out at the end of the past season, but it includes an option for another season. Last season, the 33-year-old only appeared in 19 games, in which he recorded a total of six points (three goals, three assists).
