Ramon Untersander rested for the remainder of the Spengler Cup

Switzerland will play the remaining game(s) of the 2017 Spengler Cup without Ramon Untersander, the SIHF announces.

Due to the large number of games in which he has appeared for SC Bern and the Swiss national team since season start, the 26-year-old defenseman will be rested for the remainder of the tournament in Davos.

Thanks to Thursday's 4-0 victory over Finnish team HPK Hämeenlinna, the Swiss national team has qualified for Saturday's Spengler Cup semifinals.
