The 18-year-old center won the Rookie of the Year Award, the Michael Bossy Trophy (Best Professional Prospect), and the Michel Bergeron Trophy (Offensive Rookie of the Year). Hischier was also voted into the Rookie All-Star team.
In his first season in the QMJHL, the young forward put up 86 points (38 goals) in 57 regular season games for the Mooseheads.
