HC Thurgau

Schwendener, who is also in possession of a German passport, will thus leave the DEL's Iserlohn Roosters, for which he appeared in only seven games this season. "I'm glad for the experience I had in Iserlohn and now I'm looking forward to the Eislöwen," Schwendener is quoted on the club's website.

Before Janick Schwendener moved to Iserlohn in the past summer, he had played for various teams in Switzerland, among them HC Davos, SC Bern or the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. From 2017 until 2020 he suited up for HC Thurgau.
