WOMEN'S LEAGUE

The HC Ladies Lugano have announced four arrivals for the new season, among them Phoebe Staenz (photo), who returns to Switzerland after five years abroad.

Phoebe Staenz, 24, spent the past five years in North America, where she played for Yale University, and in Sweden, where she suited up for SDE HF. Now, the Swiss international returns to Switzerland, where she has signed with the HC Ladies Lugano.

In addition, Lugano also announces the arrivals of Jade Duby and Ophélie Ryser from the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy, Nicole Andenmatten from Visp, and of Bomo Thun's Lara Escudero.
