Genève-Servette HC's Noah Rod likely to play on Friday

As Chris McSorley tells the Tribune de Genève, Noah Rod (photo) will likely be able to play against HC Davos on Friday. The forward was able to fully practice yesterday.
It had been feared that the forward, who had a great start to the season with two goals and four assists in eight games, would be out for quite some time, as he was suspected to have suffered a fracture. However, an ultrasound showed on Tuesday that he should be fine.
"Maybe there are some micro-cracks that one was not able to see on the images, but one thing is for sure, the doctors have not found a major injury," says McSorely. Daniel Rubin, on the other hand, will not be able to play this weekend. Mike Santorelli, whose return was scheduled by Genève-Servette HC for this weekend, is still questionable for Friday's game.
