As HC Lugano announces, they will have to make do without Swedish defenseman Daniel Sondell for at least the next two weeks.

Genève-Servette HC updated the general public on the injury situation of their roster. While several players are close to a return, others will miss quite some time.

The SCL Tigers confirm what was announced by Radio neo1 earlier today: They have indeed signed Eero Elo for the rest of the season. The Berner Zeitung had already reported last night that the Finn would potentially join the Tigers.

The 26-year-old forward has played eight games (one goal, two assist) for KHL team Sibir Novosibirsk, but the contract was dissolved by mutual agreement two days ago. Otherwise, the Finn mostly played in the Liiga for Lukko Rauma and Porin Ässät.

Last season, he scored 18 goals and ten assists in 62 games for Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. With Elo, Brendan Shinnimin, Rob Schremp, Chris DiDomenico and Ville Koistinen, the Tigers now have five import players at their disposal. Elo's contract is valid until the end of the 2016-17 season.
